Biography

Ekoa, founded in Cracow in late 2019 by guitarist Paweł Staszewski, solidified its lineup with drummer Sergio Barbero and bassist/singer Aurel. Their debut EP, "Chrysalis," released in April 2022, captivated listeners with its raw intensity, emotional depth, and intricate melodies. Singles such as "Rooted into Grudge" and "Delegation of Thoughts" have already amassed significant plays on Spotify. This release propelled Ekoa into the local underground scene, earning them recognition and a growing fan base.

In early 2024, Davide Corda joined as the rhythm guitarist, further enhancing the band's dynamic sound. Building on their success, Ekoa is set to release their first full-length album, "Imago," on July 26, 2024. The album features human-centered lyrics that delve into philosophical themes. Ekoa plans to tour Europe and the US, bringing their new music and unforgettable performances to a wider audience.
